| THE 10 STEPS TOWARDS CLAIMING OUR INHERITANCE (continued) |

 These 10 steps towards our inheritance are set out to help give an understanding of how God works in and through our lives. We can then become more aware of where we have been, where we are now and where it is likely we will be heading in the future, if we choose to be obedient to Him. THEY ARE NOT A DOGMATIC LIST OF THE 10 MAGIC STEPS TO BE TAKEN TO CLAIM THE HIGHEST PLACE IN HEAVEN!
The Lord is in control and He will
a. Place His hand individually upon each one of us as He chooses, at His timing and under His conditions.
b. Take us back down the steps, if we choose to be disobedient to Him.
What is being illustrated here is a pattern that emerges from the pages of the Bible, which at His choice, the Lord often uses to mature us towards becoming ...sons of God' (Romans 8:14)

THE KEY TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS IN OUR LIFE IS FOUND IN THE COMPLETE SUBMISSION OF OUR WILL TO HIM IN LOVE*, EVEN UNTO DEATH
*Agape Love - commanded as a duty. ie. Revelation 12:11

 The submission of our will to that of the Father is a 'crunch' issue for each one of us!
We talk about it, we give mental assent, but very few live it out fully in their daily lives. I am talking to myself here too!
May this study help you come closer to implementing God's will for your life.
HEROD'S TEMPLE
View from the Southeast
The main entrance to the Temple Mount was through the Hulda Gates, located at the bottom left of the photo. These gates led to a long staircase emerging into the Court of the Gentiles.
Surrounding the Court of the Gentiles were a series of "porches" or cloisters through which ran double rows of Corinthian pillars, each cut from marble and measuring 37 feet in height and covered by a flat roof. The entire court was paved with marble. The southern of these porches was known as "Solomon's Porch" (Acts 3:11).
The Court of the Gentiles derived its name from the fact that Gentiles were permitted into this area provided they conducted themselves in a reverent manner.
The tower in the foreground was the "Place of Trumpeting" and was also known as the Pinnacle of the Temple. It was from this vantage point that the trumpet would be sounded to signal the beginning of the sacrifices.
